ALESTE

• When the intro story is shown, press the [S]+[T]+ [SPACE]. The game will go to the sound test mode. Press [SPACE] to select the music, and [SHIFT] to exit this mode.

AUF WIEDERSEHEN MONTY

• Before you bload the game, assign F1 to "MONTY" by typing KEY 1,"MONTY" at the MSXBASIC prompt. When you have bloaded the game just press F1 and you'll be invincible!

FORMULA 1 SPIRIT

• The following is a list of special passwords that can be used in the game:
   

  MAXPOINT	All races possible
  HYPEROFF	Faster pit stops
  ESCON	Press [F5] to quit race
  ESCOFF	Disable ESCON effect
  MITAIYOENDDEMO	Show final sequence

  
  This cartridge will also behave differently when Game Master I (RC735), King Kong II (RC745), or QBert (RC746) cartridges are plugged into slot #2. In this case, you will be able to select any race without gathering necessary points.

  To enter the hidden levels, look for certain out of access areas. Jumping in the vicinity of these places will reveal a pyramid. Jump a few more times, and pyramid disappears, revealing a secret entry.
  
  This game also contains special passwords that enable certain hidden features:

KNIGHTMARE

METAL GEAR

• Pause the game using F1, type one of the passwords below, then resume it.

  Pattern to destroy Metal Gear (R=right, L=left): R, R, L, R, L, L, R, L, L, R, R, L, R, L, R, R. Use Rocket Launcher to destroy Big Boss. You can use Cigarettes to add 2000 additional time units.

• Nemesis II shows up some hidden features when it is inserted into slot #1, and there is another cartridge plugged into slot #2:

• Press F1 to pause the game, type the password, press RETURN, and unpause the game.

PENGUIN ADVENTURE

• Here's some cheats to this awesome game, once again submitted by Mickael Hofer. To access the merchant, fall into the crack on the ground. To warp the level, fall into the crack and press DOWN button. The cracks are indicated by their distance location (shown on top of screen), and which side of the screen they're on.
  
  At the level select menu, type "NORIKO" and then select a level. You will then be able to continue after game is over by pressing [F5].

• P.S. If you have a bell, it will sound in front of the passage entrances. Also, some levels are impossible to pass if you don't buy a scroll in a shop.

QUINPL

• When the BIT2 logo is on the screen, press DELETE and BACKSPACE keys. Don't release them until the title screen has appeared. If you do this, you will be invulnerable.

SALAMANDER

• Load Salamander in the first slot, and Nemesis 2 in the second slot. This gives access to an extra stage, which allows you to finish the game correctly.

TREASURE OF USAS

• Press CTRL at the start screen to enter one of the following passwords:

VALKYR

• On the title screen press ESC, TAB, CTRL, SHIFT and cursor keys DOWN and LEFT. Then release the cursor keys simultaneously. The word "Cheat" will appear on top of the screen.

VAMPIRE KILLER

• Plug in Vampire Killer into slot A, and GameMaster into slot B. This lets you modify the stage at which to start, and the number of lives. Reverse order for GameMaster 2.

YIE AR KUNG FU 2

• At the title screen type in ESSCCCFFFF to get 24 lives.
  Extra cheats are available with GameMaster.

ZANAC EX

• At the title screen, hold CTRL+C+[+] and select the level with LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys.
  
  After the game starts, but before your plane appears on the screen, press a digit key. This will give you the corresponding weapon.
  
  The yellow Destroy-All bubbles falling out of the "smiling" stone structures become black if you wait with getting them. The black bubbles will teleport you across several levels.
